Our Genesis
The Calvary Congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana broke away from the Ramseyer Presbyterian Church, USAon polity grounds. When some members of Ramseyer Presbyterian Church names below, realized that the leaders were leading them to be place under the PC USA Constitution instead of the PCG Constitution which was originally intended to be they individually planned to discontinue their membership if it so happened.
On March 26th, 2006 when a vote was cast and the “yes-to- PCUSA won over the –yes-to PCG”, the following members gathered at the basement of Mr. & Mrs.Badu-Dwomo’s residence for Fellowshipping and to formed the Ghanaian Presbyterian Church to help deepen our faith and commitment through worship, study, actions and projects and to instilled into our children the Core Values of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana. We thank God for honoring this mustard seed of faith of the original 19 members who attended the first Fellowship of the Church.
